Japanese “Ipad Controlled” Ski Chalet

19 Jul, 2012 -

Japan PropertyThis chalet in Hakuba, Japan, comes equipped with iPads to control and monitor the home, 3-D televisions that retract from the bedroom ceilings, a Japanese “Onsen” (natural hot spring) bath, and a 360 degree view of the snow-covered slopes.

It’s owner, Australian entrepreneur Bernie Schiemer, 42-years old, had travelled the world and skied all around it – but after visiting Hakuba, a Nagano Prefecture village in the alps of northern Japan, fell in love. His home, in all its $5,400,000 glory, was selected for display by “The Wall Street Journal’s” ‘House of The Week’ section yesterday (below)
